Question Good Deal?

I have been offered a good deal (I think) on a 2006 Outlander 400.

$3,600.00 USD for a well maintained bike with winch and XL package.

The problem is that the bike is from a tour operator so there is high mileage by amateurs -

BUT!

- All the tours are guided by the owner (2-6 hours), there are mudbogs and some rock climbing but no jumps or high speeds - sooo I think that there is just a lot of easy miles on the bike...

What do you think about the price / deal on this bike?
What is the lifespan of an Outlander in this situation?

Cool High Mileage

I got the actual milage from the current owner -6,000 miles and counting.

Then I checked with my local dealer who suggested that I buy the bike - he figured that HE would make more money that way... through the maintenance that the bike would need replacing bearings etc.

I just love a blunt but honest opinion - it saves me time and money.

Iffy to me. you could probably buy a bike with less miles on it for about the same price i would think. Mine is not the XT,but i just bought an 2007 outlander 500efi vtwin still under warranty and it only had 250 miles on it for $4,200.00 from a dealer off craigslist a few months ago. I also bought rear and front bumpers and the total for all was $4,500.00.
