Does anybody know how to adjust valves on the new 250ex,are they like adjusting valves on a car, the dealer I got mine from said it would save me 50 bucks, any info will be helpful thanks

 

The basic drill is pretty much the same on any 4 stroke engine. Adjust from a cold engine at TDC. Not familiar with the specs on your ride so I can't help you there. I'd strongly recommend a shop manual if one is available yet or if not your service dept. should be glad to give you the specs. Most valves, if not all, are checked on the compression stroke.When at TDC on compression stroke the tappets should be open.
