Default What brand battery to get ?

Looks like i'm gonna have to replace the battery on my 06 trail boss 330. I bought a Yuasa about a year ago and now its dead. Wanted to see what batterys some of you guys are using. Looks like about anything with a good name is going to set me back around $80.00.

Also is anyone using a battery maintainer and how well do they work.

Thanks

I'm Yuasa, and oddessy are about the best you can get, as far as the battery tenders go, I swear by them, I have one on both of the 4 wheelers, the mower, and my Harley, the mower battery died when it was 14 years old (good ol' JD)
especially if you plow during the winter, between my lights, winch, and heated thumb warmer, and grips, it keeps the battery topped off

I think the price goes from $75 down to $30 at Walmart, I went with the $30 and it's still good after 3 years. I pull them and keep them in the garage for several months during winter with a charge once a month.

I went with the Yuasa in my street bike. The original OEM lasted 6 years and 40,000 miles so I am hoping the Yuasa lasts just as long!!!! When the battery in my ATV goes **** up I will get a Yuasa for it also.

I've heard good things about Odyssey and plan to buy their $110 AGM battery for my '06 SP800. Right now I'm running a cute little battery out of an '07 Sportster 1200. I can't imagine with lights and winch and warmers it'll last more than this winter, even with the tender.

I bought a OEM Polaris Yusasa,3 years ago, I leave it in the ATV for months at a time during sub zerosnowmobile season, and it starts right up on the few times I feel like trying a snow ride on the trails.

That being said I also bought the cheapest Walmart everlast battery there was that fit into my Ski-doo sled and it lasted 3 years also so far.
