Default 98 Sportsman 500 Question

"What I would call the right rear axle" on this bike is broken at the yoke. I have looked at couple OEM microfiche to buy a replacement but they do not show any "axles". What they do show is CV Joint BTB or Drive Shaft Rear. Which would I purchase to repair this? And how difficult would it be to make the repairs?

I don't want to order the wrong parts and pay the restocking fee.

Thanks for any help on this matter.

You should read this old post. http://forums.atvconnection.com/pola...r-cv-swap.html

I thought the 98 already had CV not ujoints like the 96 and 97? Or I may mist read what you mean. The OEM des show a rear axle in seperate parts but its has to be bought as one complete unit.
