I have a question concerning the odometer. When the battery is disconnected will the odometer be reset?

Also, you can reset the trip meter by holding the button in for 5 seconds. I don't want to reset the odometer by accident, so I can keep a running total. I assume that it won't allow the odometer to be reset; however, can anyone confirm?

 

No this will not reset the odometer. If this were the case it would be like rolling back miles on a vehicle.
