Default Polaris Hawkeye

Is anyone eles having a problen with there Hawkeye breaking rear a-arms? I Have had my right rear a-arm snap clean off about a month ago. Had it fixed then went to Hatfield and MCcoy about a week ago and the whole left rear a-arm broke off. Polaris does not ant to do anything about it neither does the dealer. This should not happen the machine only has 600 miles on it and is in excellent condition. If anyone eles had had the same problem please contact me.

Havn't heard anything about the a-arms...plenty of info on the mounting tabs for the a-arms on the sub frame breaking off. Let us know what you find out.

It was the mounting tabs. If anyone has had the same problem or knows of someone that has please have them contact me at 301-481-4009.
Thanks,
Shannon

Shannon,
Here are a couple of Hawkeye failures similar to yours.
I have only 350 miles on mine with no problem yet but I only ride during hunting season.

Default Hawkeye A-Arm tabs breaking

My wife's 2006 Hawkeye with low miles just broke the a-arm tabs in the rear broke today. Can these be welded?

I have an 06 Hawkeye as well. No problems yet with a arms, but has very low miles. Is there a weld support that can be done now as a preventative measure, instead of fixing them after they break?

Default Hawkeye subframe issues

I pulled the subframe out of my wife's hawkeye. I'm going to have my neighbor take it to his college welding class and have his instructor see if it can be welded. Bike Bandit has the subframe listed at ~$250. I don't want to pay that for a subframe that has the same flimsy tabs for the A-arms. Polaris should offer some sort of fix for this.

I have two Hawkeyes that my kids ride. We have not had any issues but I have seen many posts about this problem. I did talk with a guy that beefed up the tabs and said it fixed the problem after his broke the first time. I agree Polaris should step up on this issue.
