Question 2008 Can Am Bombardier Carb question

I have a 2008 Can am bombarrier 400xt, i recently went to Colorado to ride. i purchased a 'dial-a-jet' and installed it. The dial-a-jet didn't seem to live up to the promises that were outlined to me when i got it. but the question i have, when i was rejetting the carb back lower altitudes i noticed, what i think is a vacuum line attached to the carb, but not attached to anything else. this hose is located on the top, back, right side as the carb is mounted on the atv. i don't remember unhooking this hose and can't find a place to connect it to. coule this just be a vent? it does attach and is a direct port to the carb. i have ask the service folks where i bought the atv from and they don't have an idea of what i am talking about. and on all the parts list and exploded diagrams of this carb all it shows is 1 end connected and all it is called is a hose. i need some assistance.

It is the fuel bowl vent tube, it doesnt connect to anything, it is simply a atmospheric vent.
