I replaced the front brakes on my 06 trail boss a little while back. After doing this the front left seems to chatter or even squeal at times. Is there any adjustment for this or just one of those thing I"ll have to live with.

What brand of pad did you use as a replacement? Some aftermarket pads will cause excessive noise....

 

The pads are the Moose racing xrc comp pads

 

I'd live with the noise or go back to the factory pads...

 

ebc(i think thats the name) has great pads. when you changed the pads, was the disk grooved out or junk? did you make sure the psiton was going in and out ok and not corroded or rusted making it stick out? just a couple of thoughts.

 

you could try a thin layer of silicone on the backsides of the pads, sometimes even a couple coats of spray paint will work as well
