My 07 800 is hard to shift when first starting up and with it on block's running with the belt cover off, when in gear and idling if you hit brake there is a light squeling or scraping noise coming from driven clutch. My idle is correct, but it seems to shift easier after about half hour of running. It is manageable but getting ready for winter riding and hatfield's and while I have it torn down I may as well fix it.

Thank's for any input

I'd also check out the motor mounts, they may be split, and causing the motor to shift slightly causing the clutches to be mis aligned, I've heard of several mounts splitting like that

you should be only able to turn the bsuhing one way and not the other if it's working right. try to see the fiber washers on the out sides of the bushing, hard to see, to see if there messed up. i mo
