I have a 07 330 trailboss and I am wondering if I will cause any harm by removing the air box snorkel ?

Also with the EPI pink spring, what is the part # I need? I would like to see some installation pictures also. Any links on where I can buy it? I checked out EPI's site and want to make sure I order the right one.
