My son has a 2004 330 magnum 4x4. the other day the four wheel dr was working fine, we were in a muddy field, and he got out fine in four wheel dr. Now the four wheel dr will not work, what should we look at, i feel it is electrical, just guessing, please help.

 

not sure if on that model the speedo is controlling the awd or not, but on the newer sportsmans if the speedo doesnt work , then neither will the awd. you check to see if there is power going from the switch to the front end.
ok just checked the parts break down and see it has the dreaded roller gage in the front end which will break if you are spinning the tires and then throw it into awd before stopping the wheel spin. imo.

 

Thanks, i am going to try and get a repair manual, so i will know what to look for.
