Curious as to whether the 850XP w/ ESP is supposed to have some play in the steering when the unit is off. I looked at one at the dealership today, and noticed that I could move the handlebars a couple of inches back and forth when the key was off. With the key on, the play wasn't as noticeable, but was still there. Is this normal?

 

I've noticed the same thing on the showroom floor and asked the dealer about it. I haven't thought about it again until you mentioned it. Not a an issue. EPS is great.

 

yes, the eps only works when the machine is on. Otherwise, it will have play.
