I was at the honda/yamaha/bombardier dealer today because my dad took me to look at the 250EX. We looked at one and on the front right under the headlight it had a little sticker that said complete an ATV safety course and get $100. I don't remember if it was a Honda safety course or if it was someone else. Has anybody else seen this or did it?

It very well could of been a promotion from Honda.Honda is a HUGE supporter of the ASI safety institute. They want riders to learn ATV respect and ride safely.I advise any inexperienced rider to take the safety course. It is only 4hrs long and very informative, besides that, its FREE to ALL NEW purchaser's of ATVers except Polaris,
Bill

My wife , my employee and myself took the course, its sponsored by most of the atv manufactures and is a basic riding class which I highly recommend to the beginner and novice rider. And for $100 savings bond it makes it a enjoyable half day of basic atv skills. Happy trails!!!

Yamaha had that offer when I bought my Big Bear, and my Kodiak. They would only let me receive $100, even though I had purchased two ATVs. They said I could bring a friend, and he could represent one of the purchases, and however we split the money was up to us. I went alone, and about a week later, received a check for $100.

I took the course when I bought my Banshee in 91 and got a $100 savings bond.
It took about an hour to do.
I didnt learn anything new but it was worth 100 bucks!! Easy money

Each of the factories will give you an incentive for taking the safty(riding) course. The cost ranges from $50 to $100 depending on the maker. Honda stopped giving out the money about 2 years ago and put your name in a drawing for some prizes, but I have been told that they will start giving out the money again this year. Polarius I have been told is coming onboard the program also.
I am one of the instructors for the St. Louis area. I have riders that have been riding for many years and after the they leave they all say the they enjoyed and learned something that day.
It is kind of like a rebate and you should get a discount from your insurance company after taking the class.
