sportman 500 H.O. Headlights and Taillights stay on when the key is off

sportman 500 H.O. Headlights and Taillights stay on when the key is off

When i turn off the key the headlights and taillights stay on. Replaced the key switch and entire light switch.....when i unplug the wires to the light switches they go out....If i plug them back in they stay off

what year? they had problems with ECM's dont know if thats your issue or not.

if it's an 05 maybe 06' could be a ecm issue. when the key switch is off there should be no power going out anywhere. imo.
