Default Snow Plow Cart

I tried doing a search but has anyone built a cart to move their snow plow around in the garage. I am thinking of building one but wanted a few ideas. Anyone?

I designed a cart for the plow on my truck which I think would work on a smaller scale just fine. I used 4" steel c-channel. It looks alot like the base of a engine stand just a larger scale. The channel is in the upright position so that the blade sets down in it and keeps it on the cart. Pretty basic design and easy to build if you have any welding skills what so-ever. Sorry no pics.

I thought about that also but I dont want to have to take stuff off each time because I want it to be a quick process. Because truthfully I dont really need a cart I just want one lol. I think I am just gonna make a T type frame with wheels on it. Oh by the way thinks for the tips on the spring sag. That helped a ton, although I had a heck of a time compressing the springs back in.

make it a triangle. c-chan in front. where the wear bar will sit in like said above. add a wheele to each side of that. then at the back add a swivel wheel where the push tube sits. so all youd need for steel is a c-chan a bit wider than your plow. 2 round bars for axels. weld that under the c-chan. wheels to put on the axels. pins to hold the wheels on. then square tubeing or what ever you have to finish the other 2 sides of the triangle. add a swivel wheel to the point. and your done.

This would work out for you. Just stand the plow up on its blade. Hardwood Furniture Moving Dolly — 600-Lb. Capacity | Dollies | Northern Tool + Equipment

That's what I did also. I found the dolly for $12 bucks, stood the blade flat on it and it works great.

The dollies work like a champ. If you get the larger size you can lay it flat on the pushtube. The smaller one is good if you put the blade down and pushtubes up.
