have a 2009 550 xp,which i really like, but i bought my wife a 700 grizzly eps and this thing makes my 550 seem like it has bricks tied to it,now first off i know the 550 will never out run the 700 but i would like more snap espically off the bottom end because it's almost like it has lag. what do i need clutch kit,exhaust,tuner,air filter and which wiil give me the most bang?

 

First off buy a the 850 and you will be good to go LOL (jk) All the things you listed will help and I wold start with the air fileter and work my up from there.

 

in hind sight wish i did but got a good deal on 550 for my wife (HA HA) then she rode her brothers 700 with eps which he sold to my to help get him rid of some debt and of course the 550 is financed. BUT NEXT TIME POWER,POWER,POWER.:l ol:

You know Dirt Trax Television did a 2 part episode this year about putting in a clutch kit on an XP. Seems like it really did the trick for "waking up" the XP.

The old discontinued 660 grizzly will smoke the new XP550 and 550 Grizzly. The new 550 only advantage over the old 500 is a 50 cc displacement increase thats why it only has 3 more hp at most. The only mid size displacement utility ATV that can perform like a big bore is the 500 Can Am due to its high reeving twin,but it pays for that in having less torque then a single.
