becides the raptor 700,what else is close?

If you are talking swingarm solid rear axles the Raptor is about it. The Honda 700xx has IRS like an Outlaw IRS and is pretty quick.

Only thing better would be a free one.

But like Moose had said, not much in that same category.

Maybe the older KTM's?

So really by "better" you mean "faster" right?

In which case the KTM 525 is faster (also better) than the Polaris version for several reasons.

Well, my 450R (actually a 480R) handled the Polaris KTM quite easily.

KTM's xc engine package is really a nice one... really is.

And the 525 version is a real hoss.

To me, the 525 is kind of by itself, and honestly it really is.
Not just because of the cc's either.

It delivers more power than a 450 and does it quick.

But also what puts it by itself is that KTM achieved this with a long stroke and a SOHC head.

It's pretty impressive to me they got the power and rev they did from that.
Gives you 450 killing power while still keeping the old school thumper grunt down low.
