Default 2002 250 Polaris Trail Blazer - Won't start with Pull Cord

So our starter went out on our atv and we are postponing the purchase of a new one, but purchased some more cord for the pull start - we're having an issue, it's not starting... it's making the sound as if to start but there is no firing up....

any suggestions?

i do know that we checked the spark plug and it's good....

as far as anything else... really have no idea what to check. this is our first atv that we've owned so......

Another thought, make sure you have a good battery. If voltage is low you may have insufficient spark

if you didn't turn off the gas when you stood it up, then chances are you may have flooded it. gas will free flow into the engine if the needle opens ups in the carb because of the angle you had the bike sitting at. imo
