my 08 broke a rear outer cv a few months ago.it has stock tires and i drive gravel roads i dont beat on this bike. this thing always pulled to the right since new . brought it to dealer still pulled to right. is it possible that something was wrong with this cv from new oh yea it was the rihgt rear cv that blew. i want to buy a new cv but polaris is on crack they do not sell a rebuild kit for the cv and a new one is 260 plus tax. i live in ontario canada i guess this is why the part costs this much.i checked all over the internet to find a rebuild or a cheaper aftermarket replacement i cannott find one . i guess polaris put different cvs on 08s. 07 06 05 are not same part numbers.does anyone know where i can find a new aftermarket for this bike. i would normally buy from polaris but i got laid off last week and i would like to find a cheaper replacement cant really afford 260 plus tax now.would the internal rebuild kit from a 07 be the same as 08 could i just buy that.anyone who might have a solution to this lack of available aftermarket parts problem let me know anything you know that could fix this cheaply.

No idea why a joint would have failed already unless it was faulty. Tough break about your job and your bike all at once.

There are several companies on ebay, or if you want a truly quality axle, check out gorilla axles, or Turner axles, they make very heavy duty axles, but they probably will be close to what the stock price would be, but I'm not sure on that, but IMO you get what ya pay for now days

 

Call the C_V MAN 1-800-338-2326 he'll have what you need at a better price, he also sells indiviodual parts for what you need, if machine pulls to rigt jack it up and make sure left side is pulling, seen shafts come out of splines or stripped splines before.
