Artic Cat Head Scatcher
Hey guys, I have an artic cat 400. I am working on top end,replacing piston set with minium bore in cylinder plus gasket set. Having a problem with (TDC) top dead center on crank. I did align the cam marks up as I was tearing down and piston seemed to be on compression stroke. How do I check to make sure piston is in the right possition along with cam? Where is the marks on the crank? Any help will be greatfl,thankyou in advance.

The tdc inspection port is above the rotor/flywheel, in front of the starter housing.. see page14 in manual. ( section 2).. good luck
