Default Polaris Hand guards ?'s

I found a good deal on a set of Polaris hand guards on ebay, but they say they only fit 01-06, and mine is an 07. If they fit the 05&06 newer body style like mine, what is the difference between the 06's and 07's? Did they change the master cylinders?

Also if any body that has these has any pics of how they mount, I'd appreciate that too, I have a winch, heated grips and gps mount on my bars already, and I'm not sure if they'll fit.
They are Polaris Part #2874871-288, if you have put these on an 07,8,or 9 please let me know if they fit correctly.

Thanks in advance

On some of the earlier models, there was difference in the master cylinder on the handlebars. Don't know if that's the case with those or not.

they are different, must get the proper ones. master cylinder is different. I have a winch on mine and they have bolts that came with my kit to adapt for the switch. (longer bolts) you must read directions very carefully and they will work. should be no problem with heated hand grips. I plan on adding them soon. I won't be able to get a pic of them until this weekend. i have an 07 500x2. also once you get them on there isn't a lot of adjustment and trying to keep straight with each other was a bit of a pain.

If your not partial to getting polaris brand hand guards maybe consider the kolpin. I know they'll fit up to an 08 as well as my 02. About $45 at tractor supply or other places that carry atv parts and built pretty rugged. maybe cheaper on e-bay

i got the kolpin electronic hand guards from cabelas in the bargain cave for $10 brand new. Supposed to be $90 so if ya have a cableas near u then try there. The electronic ones have a clock, thermometer, compass light. They mount the same way as the regular hand guards. Also RHINO-RIBBED so they are very strong. They have mirrors in them they are nice if u ride with other people and u just look in mirror to see if they are still there ya know

Hey guys, thanks fr all the input, but I think I'm gunna pass on them, I thought they had metal brackets, and know I see they have plastic, which I know I don't want

Polaris Man, that's the kind of price I was lookin for, I don't really need a set, but for $10 or $15, what the heck, too bad Cabela's is 2 hrs. away

i bought 2 or 3 sets just cause they were cheap haha a tlest if they break i always have another set i also have a polaris set and the whole mount and hand guard bracket is just paper thin plastic and junk. Look pretty nice but when a branch hits them they just bend and hit your hands anyway so might as well not have them. They were also pretty expensive compared to our $10-$15 price range hahah
