does anyone know if taking the vin sticker off and stamping it in the frame would cause any problems with any laws i am preping the frame for paint and i dont want an old crappy sticker on my frame

 

Don't worry about it. Many guys on here have stripped the paint off and powder coated there frame. The sticker is only one out of two vin numbers that are on the quad, there is another one stamped into the frame somewhere.

 

it is also stamped under the snorkle that runs from the air box and the carb ,on the brace for the rear shock

 

thanks i found where it is engraved i just was worried about it if i take it to cal i herd they are **** about that stuff
