Default Price on new leftover 09 Grizzly 450?

Found a new 09 Grizzly 450 in camo for $5900 + $185 prep, plus tax. Good price? Best I've found yet myself.
"TRYING" to find a nice used 09 for under $5,000, but nothing out there.

It is not a bad deal but I would not call it great either. If you wait a little longer the price should go down with all the 2010 coming into stock but then you take the chance in the 09 being bought by someone else. I would call around and see if you could find anyone still has some 08's sitting around. I know the dealer here in Michigan still had some and was knocking off almost 2K to get them out of their inventory.

I'd tell them you'll pay them the $5900, let them eat the Prep - tell them there is another Stealership that has it for $5800 plus tax, but you want to buy from Them as they are closer to your house etc... just talk a little BS and you will get your price!

Also do you NEED the Camo? or just want it ? hehe I am sure a non camo would be cheaper

When I got my 2007 I paid $5700 OTD plus I got 25% off on all accesories I bought that day..

Good Luck! Nice machine! I love mine!

Well.......after shopping more, I found a new 09 450 in camo for $5750 total, plus tax, and a new 09 in hunter green for $5250 total, plus tax.
Actually though, I may pass on both of them, and grab an 07 in camo with 170 miles on it, with an electric winch, for $4,000 that I found.
All 3 quads are a 2 hour drive.

Gunna decide tomorrow.

I don't "NEED" camo, but really like the look & especially "durability" of camo plastic.

I would go with the used one and let the first owner eat the depreciation as long as the milage is low and was taking care of. You can tell just buy looking it over carefully, also check the blue book value to make sure that the dealer is in line with it.... DOG

I would go with one of the 2009's. We ride with a couple of Grizzly guys. The 09's included some fixes that the previous years had. I believe one was a stalling issue... not sure on the other one... gas tank vent or something like that.

Great Bikes though!

just got back from a 6 hr round trip ride to pick up the 07 Grizzly 450 camo I mentioned. It has 170 miles, and it looks so new, you can put it on a showroom floor and sell it as new!!!

Got it from a private owner.

Came with a Warn winch, heated grips, and a nice rear rack extension that raise the sides (must be Yamaha factory option because it matches the powder coated racks!)

Took it out for a little ride just now, and it's SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!

Might be looking
for another one soon, for my son (selling his Polaris TrailBoss 330)

Nice! I love my 07 Grizz 450 - small nimble quad - very capable of hanging with the Big Bores in the rough stuff! Yes, that rear rack extension is a Yamaha Factory acccesory. I have it and like it, it saved me once as I tried to climb up something a little too steep and the bike ended up standing up on the back... It never flipped completely over
