Thumbs up Mad Dog -- Oversized Deluxe Zipperless Pro-Series

Well...I purchased the Mad Dog -- Oversized Deluxe Zipperless Pro-Series Bag. It just seemed to be a good match for the XP and my needs.

I am adding a link to a thread I started last year on the very subject. I posted pics of the bag during a mountain trail ride.

Good luck...

Can you fit a helmet in the bag? I always wear my helmet, maily to keep
the dust out of my eyes and I am looking for a place to Put it when we spot
for food or stuff like that. Kinda one of those out of sight out of mind deals.
I know they ain't much for security but it would be a little relief on my worries.
Also I was wondering how hard it is to strap that bag on the XP? I know they
are easy to strap to the rack on the older wheelers. But there is not lot of room
to slide those clips under the rack on the sportsman and the XP. The reason I
decided to go with a soft bag and not the lock and ride is cuz it will be switched
between my 05 700 and the new XP

Good question. I always wear a helmet to, but I have never tried to fit it in the bag. From the looks of the inside...I would say yes. Of course...that would depend on the other gear inside the bag.

Pretty easy actually. The straps could be longer...IMHO...but they wrap nicely and securely.

I got mine several years back at Tractor supply. If I remember correctly, it was less than $100. It is about the same size as the Mad Dog bag. I have a Mad Dog now 1.) because my Tractor Supply bag wore out and 2.), the Mad Dog bag was given to me. Otherwise, I would have bought another TSC bag. I looked on their website, but I cannot find a link to it.

There are worse ways to spend the day. Love Cabelas and Bass Pro Shops. I got a Polaris structured soft sided bag that I use on the front. Got it off eBay and it has been excellent and hasn't allowed any water in as yet. I think I paid around $60 with shipping and patience.
