Redoing a 400 scram motor and the counterbalance bearing is junk. online parts places show parts separated. I would like to know if it's possible to separate the gear off the shaft to get the bearing off?.. like take it to a auto machine shop and have them press it off maybe? or if anybody has a good used one for sale at a reasonable price? any help will be appreciated. thanks.

 

I found location dimple marks on the gear and the shaft at where it should separate so it looks like it can be removed why else would they put location marks right there. going to bring it in to see if anybody can do it. i'll let people know because this will save lots of money than buying new.
