Hi All..
New here and have a question about the Warriors. Just got it and it seems to run pretty good. My concern is valve noise. I adjusted the valves (in mm's) and it's a little more quiter but still seems loud to me. I talked to the local shop and they said the 350 warrior is known for noisy valves.. Is this true?
Second issue is going from reverse to forward is sometimes hard after warm-up. Kind of have to play around with and if not careful, it will want to grind a little.
Anyway.. Seems like I'm going to have a lot of fun this summer!!
Thanks for the input!

yea the warrior vavletrain is noisy, alot of it is the large tappets on the rockers, and your reverse problem seems normal really, might need to change the oil and it could help a little, use JASO approved motorcycle oils.

and yep warriors are just noisy, mostly because its just 2 big valves and reverse sucks on all warriors i dont even use it unless i have to. also once again you need to check out yfm350.com

Yep, the noisy valves are normal. Throw a high performance cam in and it will sound like a sewing machine.
A trick I used on all of my Warriors when switching from reverse back to forward is to switch back to forward while you are still rolling backwards. Usually if you do this the froward/reverse lever will drop right back into place. Of course, it's best to stop completely before you let out the clutch to start driving forward again.
