Default Yamaha Breeze air filter issues

Could anyone help please? Got an 03 yamaha breeze 125. Carb is cleaned and have up both jets from 82.5 to 85 and pilot from 12.5 to 15. Air/fuel adjusted out two turns. New air filter just installed hoping to fix current issue which is runs great and idles great until I put the air box on. I thought it was because it was dirty and nasty. But new one does the same thing. It just bogs down. What can I do? Thanks for any help.

back the air/fuel mixture screw out till it runs with filter........ Typically you're adding air to the mixture,....you need more air when the filter is on,.... opening the adjustment should allow more air into the mixture.

Keep in mind,.... I said this is TYPICAL,.... this should indicate to you I do not have the Breeze you have,... this is just general knowledge being tossed out there....... I hope this helps.

Since you "upped" the jets sizes,.... you're also getting more fuel..... adding fuel to the fire, so to speak,.... but without the needed air to compensate. A lot of the system upgrades will open up the air intake to "breathe" better, along with the larger jets,..... You may have to do so also.

Thanks, I will try after work today. That all makes sense. Add more air to compensate for more fuel. Back out screw should do the trick. I'll do 1/2 turn at a time to see what happens.
