Default Trail Boss 325

Someone else was storing my quads and all the keys were lost.

The Honda/Suzuki dealer said no problem, bring them the ignitions and proof of ownership, and its $6 per key. GREAT !!!

But I have called a few Polaris and yamaha dealers and no luck, get a new ignition or take it to a locksmith. Locksmiths want 15-30.

Does Yamaha and Polaris have a program where they can cut keys based on the ignition code?

No codes on the switches. When new 2 sets of keys are provided and both have 3 digit numbers on the key for using to obtain blanks, which we along with a lot of dealers carry in stock. I advise customers to store one key in a safe place OR at least have the key number written down so you can get the correct blank,BUT if you dont have the key to use to cut a new one then either a new switch or locksmith is needed, whichever is cheaper in the long run OPT

OK thanks. Today I yanked the switch, in case I could get a key, and to see if I could figure out the wiring.

Theres 4 connections, A, B, C, and D. COuld you tell me what each wire does, and how I would need to hot wire it? Maybe PM me.

I just got these bikes back, after they were impounded for 6 months, and I just cant afford to spend alot on them. I would just prefer to put a switch instead of an ignition, but I am going to check Ebay now for a used ignition. Any salvage places I can pick one up cheap? This thing needs other parts too like brakes, airbox cover etc.
