850XP belt question

Default 850XP belt question

it finally left saturday to get a new belt,oil change,brake pads just waiting for it to get back hopefully tommorow or tuesday i was just wondering is there a break in peroid on the belt

You need all those things already? That's going to cost some coin to have the dealer do it. I guess you know that already.

Your XP manual has the belt break-in info.

how many miles are on it? I hope I dont have to do any of that for several thousand miles.

I'm still on my original front pads with 6900 miles on them I should get another couple thousand out of them , my belts go well past 3000 miles going to try for 5000 miles on this one .

i think i have like 8500 miles on mine and the belt lasted that long

8,500...wow. That is a tough machine. How did you ride 8,500 miles in two years?

HOLY...HOLY...that is amazing! I think 8500 miles and getting your first belt replaced it fantastic. Sounds like Polaris did something right with the design.

yes it is and i just always riding around and it is a tough machine
