Default 99 arctic cat 500 wont stay running

Alright guys its been quite a while since i posted and i lost my old login and pass. But i email a GM about it so hopefully ill be back on fastestkidaround soon. Anyway to my problem. I have a 1999 cat 500 full time 4x4. Had it since i snatched it from the showroom floor. Used to run great, this thing has done it all, been to hell several times and still got me home But after sitting for some time she wont stay running. Has fresh fuel and plug. Hooked up my truck and jumpers to it and all she will do is sputter sometimes run for 1-20 seconds and then she dies. She will crank and crank all day. choke doesnt matter if its on or off. at first crank she will start with no throttle then after a few fires she will only start at full throttle like a flooded car, even though primer wasnt pumped and no choke on. Im out of ideas besides valves. Temps are anywhere from 60-75 F* so perfect for it. Never been rebuilt or modified in any way. Just racks winch and tires I just need some ideas. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me

Forgot to add that this winter after sitting and sitting it warmed up to around 40* F, she started and ran great. So possible jets, but makes no sense do to that fact that the summer or summer before she ran great. Also lights work fine, fuses are good has constant spark as well.

Carb needs cleaned , sounds like pilot jet is plugged. take the bowl off , remove pilot and main jet, spray carb cleaner through all passagways, remove air-fuel screw and clean it too, should be set at 2to 2.5 turns out.

I agree, sounds like you have a good Spark but now you need to make sure it is getting air and fuel. The older AC 500's have a plunger like choke that can stick as well. SO a good cleaning is in order.
