Im looking to get a new atv. Not so good credit though, most places have denied me and i dont have a co-signer. Im just looking to get a new atv with a small downpayment and a trade in of my old one, only reason my credit is bad is because of college loans. need some help here, i can deffinitly afford it, i just dont have the cash up front. any ideas on true places who can help with financing? not all those gimick places where you fill a small app out and they send it to 10 lenders who send it to 10 more etc and you end up getting 13 calls a day and 47 emails a day? (been there, dont wanna do it again)

have you tried going through the financing available at the dealer? i think just about all manufacturers now have something like that. you looking to replace your recon, just a 2wd sport utility machine?

 

all the dealerships down here denied, said if i had a co-signer ive got an 80% chance of it going through...

i want to replace the recon i have now. older, still runs but needs new piston and camshaft and i would just asoon get a new one then have to fix this one, and do it all again in a month or two. because i just did it a month ago... ugh. shes a pretty pile of crap. haha

 

Harsh facts:

1. Forget trading in your old bike - you'll get nothing for it. Put it on Craigslist and get what you can for it, then put that money towards your new ATV.

2. If everyone is turning you down that means your credit is toast. The only thing that will fix that is time and/or a co-signer. This is the price you pay for not paying back your school loans. Sounds like you will have to accept the fact that you are not going to get a new ATV financed.

3. If the money is no problem then save up the money and buy the ATV outright. Or, save up as much as you can to make a large down payment so that someone will be willing to finance the rest. This is the best route to follow as it will get you in that new ATV plus help to rebuild your credit. Downside is that you may have to wait a while, depending on your income and saving abilities but again, that's the price you pay.

 

still in school, the loans arnt even in repayment untill march of 2011. my credit is only bad because of the outstanding accounts.

moneys not a problem meant i can afford a monthly payment of 300 or less, most atvs are around 100-160$ even with a high APR. i have 100% made payments on all things reported to credit bearus but they dont care about that, they just look at your amount owed.

I actually have already gotten approved. I now have a 2011 Grizzly with a trade in from my old one that needed work for 800$. Most people on craigslist were tryin me for 300 and 400. BS if you ask me. you put 200 bucks into rebuilding what needs to be and they could sell it for a grand or more.
