04 Yamaha Wolverine 350cc or 1999 polaris scrambler 500cc

I'm interested in buying a bike and have 2 options locally. I'm looking for something that I can push snow around, move some lumber around and have a little fun in a small trail by my house. The trail is only 250 linear feet and I was looking for something quiet. Both bikes are priced around 2k. The Polaris has a few minor issues and has had transmission work done. It also seems to have been beaten on a bit more as the Wolverine was owned by a woman that used it for light trail riding. Which option should I go for?

between those 2 the scrambler by far, they do about 62mph and they are pretty sporty for a 4x4 and alot more powerfull then the yamaha, the newer 350 wolvy bikes are junk imo, the 450s are ok and the old 350 wolvys are good also but the newer 350s are just poopy, i dont even think there 4x4.

If I were in your situation and I knew that the polaris has been treated roughly and has already been torn down to have tranny work done I would question what will go out next. I guess my idea when buying a used quad is get something as new as I can afford and if I know the background (woman owned) that is a positive! If you are looking to plow snow and play around on a local trail I would go with the wolvy. In the end you are the one cutting the check so the decision is strictly yours!

Get the wolverine.Vehicle Reviews for 2004 Yamaha Wolverine 4X4
Its all about condition when buying used plus at 477 lbs. the 350 was the lightest 4x4 ever made, wish Yamaha still made them . All it needed was selectable 4wd/2wd to be prefect.
