06 450 passenger foot rest

06 450 passenger foot rest
I just bought a set of foot rests off ebay that came off an 05 Sportsman 500...according to the guy at the dealership I talked to these foot rests should fit my 450 but unless I'm missing something they aren't fitting...
I attached a photo of the foot rests I bought...not sure what brand they are...I loosened up the rear rack so I could slide the foot rests up underneath it.I thought they top of the bar slid into the bar that the rack is bolted to...but it doesn't...
Any help?
