It's a scam. I've seen this guys ads up here in New England. Always too good to be true.

Yeah, you're welcome. This guy has ads for 2008 Sportsman XP 850s for $2700 and stuff like that. I'd like to find people like him and wring their necks sometimes.

 

Make sure you always flag these guys. When i see them I search for the add on craiglook across the country. Sometimes if I have time I will flag it in 50 different markets. The I send an emaila nd tell the guy thanks for posting in our local area and I flagged all 50 of his ads.

My first guess is the email you get back is gonna be "I'm being deployed to (insert country here) and can't take it with me".

They may have an out of state phone number, or a Gmail account as their contact. One thing I've noticed down here is if they do have pictures posted, it looks nothing like the area you live.

LOL to be honest the guy didn't even bother to e-mail me back. I guess he didn't like it when I put in that I would go wherever it was with cash in hand and load it up and bring it home if all checked out with the ATV. Seems that they get the idea that you wont be fooled into paying for a pig in a poke when you tell them you will have to inspect it before anything else happens.

 

Another sign of a scammer is how well they speak English. I've also noticed ads for things in NY state that show palm trees. It's pretty comical if it didn't hurt people.
