Honestly trying to find a car on craigslist. Between the dealer ads and the scams it's about 1 ad for every 50 posted that turns out legit. Called a dealer on a 2000 Honda CR-v. No price in the ad, and the sales guy tells me they don't have many cars for sale at a cash price. Ok, let's here the financing crap.

1200 down, then 185 dollar bi-weekly payments for about 30 months. Now I check the NADA listings on anything I'm about to buy. Retail price for that vehicle is just over 6500. Not sure what kind of interest rate they're getting, but I think I'm in the wrong business.

Oh, and todays email scam on cl is...

Hi,
I am selling this car because my platoon has been sent back to Afghanistan and don't want it get old in my backyard. The price is low because I need to sell it before August 17. It has no damage, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained and hasn't been involved in any accident..I do have the title , clear, under my name. The car has 61,289 miles, year 2005 and VIN 1N4AL11D65C367564.
It is still available for sale if interested, price as stated in the ad $3900. The car is now with me in Great Falls, MT, in case it gets sold I will take care of shipping. Let me know if you are interested, email back.
Regards!!!
