my warrior has no spark

Default my warrior has no spark

i have a 2001 warrior engine and a 2003 harness i have the essentials like the cdi the voltage regulator the starter relay the ignition coil but when i hook up the positive and negative to try to start it, it wont give spark. any help would be great thanks

The stators on the Warriors were notorious for going bad. Test the stator and the pick-up coil and make sure they are both good.

pick up coil as in ignition coil?

No, the pick up coil is down with the stator behind the flywheel on the left side of the motor.

it should be inside the motor or outside, sorry im new to this

it is inside the motor...left side of motor has a harness coming out. part of those wires are to it. theres a way to check both with a voltmeter set on ohms for resistance. more than likely that is it.
