Default XP 850 Exhaust on the 550

I am curious if anyone has done this or seen it done??? I am thinking of doing it to my 09 XP 550. It seems to me that the dual outlets would provide better flow and maybe even sound better

How does a pipe for a twin cylinder motor just bolt to a Single Cylinder motor ? Unless the 850 is a 2 into one pipe then spreads to dual mufflers?

On steet bikes we tried to get 4 into one headers, from stock 4 into 2s,not the other way around. lose some mufflers not gain them.

THE MUFFLER disconects from the manifold so its just a replacement with 2 outlets. Now the question is performance?

You would think more back pressure from a single exhaust would perform better like on steet bikes.

More like can I put the single exhaust from the 550 on the 850 should be the question.

Putting the 550 muffler on a 850 would probbly choke the motor out. It wouldn't be able to release the exhaust fast enough. (that would be my guess)
