Hi all,
I have an 2004 1/2 Sportsman 500 with a shot exhaust pipe (mid section) and muffler.
Can any one give me the years that would fit this machine and also if a 400 uses the same exhaust?

is your exhaust pipe and muffle 1 piece? i see it listed has 2 pieces and the exh. pipe will fit 04 to 07' 400,450 and 500.

Your center section is P# 1261246-489 my guess is many different modles and years use it also. Even my 2001 500 H.O uses the same one,also the 2001 500 Scrambler,2003 400 Sportsman probably could go on and on all day.

 

Go to purepolaris.com and click on atv online parts catalog. Pull up your model and click on part diagram for exhaust. Click the usage button to left and it will give you every model that shares that part.
