I just bought a 01 250ex for my g/f and have a few questions....

Are there any grease fittings???

Why are some hop-up mods for this machine?

What oil is everyone running? Currently it has the honda gn-4, I was thinking about switching to Mobil 1 blend after break in.

Any help would be appreciated.

So far so good, great entry-level quad. I only have about 2 hours on it, so I have not really opened it up.

 

There are no grease fittings, Honda stopped putting them on their quads a few years back. Check the parts unlimited catalogs for 2001, which should be out pretty soon. I hope that white brothers will at least make a pipe for the 250EX, I think that a 400EX bumper will work because the stock bumpers have the same part number.
