I recently bought a 2001 Recon. Could you guys give me advice on how to keep track of the usage. Is there an easy attachment that logs miles or hours? Do I go by amount of tanks of gas used? Do I buy a little cheapo watch and attach it to the handle bars and hope I start the timer each time? I am open for any ideas. Help!!!!

I just estimate the time. Say I leave the house to go ride at noon and I get back at 5:30, I give my self an hour for unloading and loading equipment and for riding breaks and say the difference was riding time 4.5 hours and then I round up to 5 hours. That way the maintaince gets done before it needs to but I would rather be safe then sorry. Of course water crossing change the rules here and requires maintaince much sooner.
