Hi I'm new to this thread. I have an 05 honda recon es that I just bought. When I bought it, it had a dead battery but if you jumped it off it would run fine. When I took it home me and a buddy jumped it off with a car battery laying in the garage, but what I didn't realize was that he put the cables on backwards. I did try to start and NADA. I bought a new battery and it starts up and runs fine, it does have a little issue idling. But the big problem is now my light that shows I'm in neutral pulses , and when I hit the gas it goes dim. The headlights are doing the same they are pulsing at idle and when I Rev they start to brighten just a little but the higher I go the dimmer they get.
