Im lookin at buying this quad its used with low hours 77 hours. how much would it be worth and is there anything i should look for befor buying it? i dont no much about polaris. i did own a scambler 4 years ago it had been rode hard and i said i would never own a polaris again but i think i might try it again since its got low hours im just lookin to use it mostley for hunting and some trail riding... Is this a good quad power and all? im not looking for speed just to haul deer out woods and somthing not to beat me to death when riding. Any info would be great looking to buy this week or two!!!

Also i have looked at the honda 4x4 with the IPS only I have always like the honda's anyone no how they compair to the the sportsmens?

The Polaris has the best ride bar-none and a SP 500 is a good all around machine. I have a 08 500 HO and have had no problems except for a leaking CV boot and I use it for hunting, putting in food plots and trail riding. I also had a 01 magnum 325 and the only thing I did to it was a new regulator/rectifier at about 6000 mi. and a front a arm but that was my fault. If you keep good maintenance on them and keep all the electrical connections clean and well greased (especially if you ride in a lot of water) I do not think there is a better ATV on the market today. As for the price, that will have a lot factored in to it, Like where you live and a bunch of other things. If possible post a picture of the ATV the asking price, miles, anything extra like winch, rack extensions and so on and any info you can get about maintenance history, so people can give a well educated opinion. That said 05 SP 500's are going on ATV Trader for anywhere from $3300 to $4300. You can do a search here to find what the going rate is in your area
