Default Steering

So I have a new X2 and it seems to me that Its hard to steer in anything but turf mode. If feels like the steering just wants to push back to being straight I dont remember this problem when I first got it. I feel like its getting worse if I go from AWD to a locked 2wd the steering feels no better until I go into turf mode should I bring it in for a check up?

I've always felt my '06 X2 was hard to steer on roads and some dense packed surfaces. It does get better using the Turf Mode in these conditions. But, most quads I've ridden are about the same on hard surfaces. The X2 probably adds a little more needed oomph because it is very heavy.

I noticed while working on my quad on jack stands, that if you go from AWD to Turf mode, both rear wheels turned under power till I put it in reverse, then back to 2WD Turf mode. Might be because it was on stands with no weight on the tires, but it reminds me of my Jeep days where you had to go in reverse to free the front wheels sometimes. On the jeep it was because of tension built up while in 4WD, makes me wonder if the fronts on my ATV stay locked in AWD till tension is relieved. Might try backing up a few feet in 2WD and see if the fronts let go.

Don't use turf mode anymore that you absolutely have to.
