Just installed the Dobeck TFI!!!!!

Had to share with you guy's. Had a rainy day and got the day off! So 2 weeks ago I installed a hot seat pipe and K&N filter with some good performance results. Now today I finally had time to install the tuner. All I can say is WOW!!! It's a whole new animal. No programming this thing like some of the power commander's via lap tops and such. It's pretty much plug and play. It has four setting pods which can be adjusted with a screw driver. Air/fuel, acceleration, main jet,(so to speak) and a rpm setting for when the main really kicks in! Once I set every thing to dobeck's suggested tuning for my stock machine, I just had to play around with it a little to dial it in for my pipe and intake. Took about 15 min. to install and another 30 min of testing to dial it in.
The good:
Great improvement over stock
Easy to install
Easy to adjust
Priced at $220 (price varies a little per model)
No need for new programs to adjust for pipes etc.
Huge discounts for military personnel /veterans,fire fighters and police officers!
Made in America by Americans (Montana)
2 year unlimited mileage, no questions asked warranty!
Tech support you can actually get a hold of.
They make tuners for nearly any Fuel injected ATV,motor cycle, snow mobile and water craft.
The Bad: Haven't found one yet.

they may work good on atvs but on a street bike their junk, because you cant subtract fuel only add, if you had it on a dyno i bet there are places in the rpm range where fuel would need to be pulled not added.
I always prefer the pc3's (power commanders)

Maybe the case for a street bike, I don't know?, this is my first experience with a tuner on an atv or any other bike for that matter. I'm just letting other guys know my experience with it. And at first there was a spot where there was to much fuel. After some fine tuning, it's running smooth all the way through the rpms. For the price and a limited amount of tuners available for the 500 EFI compared to whats available for the 700-800 I gave it a try and happy I did.
