Question 07 Sportsman X2 exhaust replacement

Hi there,

New to the forums and I have a 2007 Polaris sportsman 500 X2 that I bought brand new. It's been a great machine, but the stock exhaust is rusting out! I'd guess that I have no more than a year left...and it looks terrible.

Can you recommend an aftermarket kit that includes all the pipes and a nice sounding muffler? There seem to be a few options out there, but I'm not familiar with the brands, so I thought someone here would have some suggestions.

Thanks very much,

Tim

You could try calling these guys. Hot Seat Performance, Speedwerx, polaris, Arctic Cat, Performance Parts, ATV, UTV, Quad, Exhaust, Big Bore Kits, Performance Parts, RZR, Prowler, Thundercat, Sportsman Love mine. Good power bump and sounds so sweet!

Thanks! I didn't see anything listed on their website, but I'll give them a call next week.

Update:

I ordered a slip-on muffler from Hot Seat Performance....great guys and very helpful. They don't offer a full replacement for the X2 as there are no performance gains to be had from replacing the stock head pipe. They told me to send in my existing pipe and they can ceramic coat it to make it look like the muffler.

I'll post pics when it's all back together. Thanks for the suggestion, great company to do business with!
