Default 2008 sportsman 500 suspension question

So I am trying to get the suspension dialed in on my sportsman 500. I am a big guy weigh 290 lbs and my quad leans and squats everywhere I've adjusted the back shock to the 2nd to highest setting and it's helped out a lot but whenever I go around a corner or down a hill or stop the front end is everywhere it kinda makes the atv not feel stable. I just ordered 27 in Zilla tires and Iam also thinking that they will rub when the suspension bottoms out all the time. What should I do get a spring spacer or just go ahead and order some heaver front springs or do I just order replacement normal springs the atv has 500 miles on it and 100 hrs not sure if the org ones are just wore out.

you need the heavy duty springs. spacers wouldn't be enough or it would make it ride stiffer when the spring is already compressed some what with the spacers. imo

Thanks for the reply,do you think it's better to go aftermarket or stick with the Polaris brand. Also i keep seeing posts about Polaris hd springs and after i read your post I called the local dealer to order them and he said to find a part # and call him back because they weren't listed in his computer. Do you happen to know if there specific to that model or are people just putting spring from anouther model in that happen to fit and work well.

I bought all 4 HD springs from the Polaris dealer and they worked out great and were the same price as aftermarket. The aftermarkets are good too. Just get the best price.

Thanks for the reply. And the tire advice earlier. So do you think I should just bite the bullet and get Hd springs all around or just for the front and just use the adjustment to stiffen the back up. Also when I called the dealer to order front springs he told me he could not find it in there parts computer and asked if they were hd springs or just the springs off a bigger machine.

The HD springs are made for that quad not some other model. I would only put them on the front and max out the rear adjustment.
