Raptor Warranty Question
#3
Well if you had problems with intake values or exhaust values The dealer could use the aftermarket parts to be the cause of problem. Unless you have an good relationship with your dealer than I would leave stock, cause dealer are always trying to find away out of warranty work..But it does pay them good thou..I guess if you want to run atv with these parts on then i would go ahead BUT if you had an issue with atv and questionable warranty then put factory parts back on.. Just try not to mark up mount bolts on exhaust.....

You are out of your warranty period since you own a 3 year old quad that originally came with a 6 month warranty.

I would think that since you've changed the entire air/gas flow and would require a rejet of the carb they would probably make an argument to void the warranty. But, if the parts were put on by the dealership, and they did the jetting then the argument could be made that they were at fault and not the parts.
But like Gary said, you're talking about a quad that's coming up on it's 4th birthday. Unless you've gotten an extended warranty through another company it won't matter.
If you have an extended warranty through a third party, they will argue that it's voided till you finally just give up.

I have seen dealers that will still give you a warranty with aftermarket parts but they seem to be few and far between, like said earlier, if you have a really good relationship with your dealer you may check with them first.
This could be a left over 07 purchased new in 2010, it would still have the factory 6 month warranty.
And raptors went to FI in 06, no carbs, no jetting but you do need to run a fuel programmer.
