Yep, they're not much. Let's face it, most of the manufactures are looking for ways to make them "less expensive" (some call it cheaper). Some of the manufacturers are going to extremes on all their Utility vehicles. Heck, look at the new John Deere Gator... 3 cylinder motor BUILT IN CHINA.

Take away the twin metal roller cage hubs ,and put the single pastic Roller cage system in the diff was a nice touch also.

Well, Polaris ahs done a good job of trying to kill this model off in the past as well. It is really to abd, because I truly think there would be a strong market for an honest sport 4x4 along the lines of the renegade but cheaper and lighter.

hey don't get me wrong,,,,,,,,,big fan of gen3 bikes i have two,the 01scram500+97blazer250 both are an incredible beast reacting violently to all the mods i've done to both of these,,,,,,,,,,,,if they were going to change it violently they should have put a honest 600cc in,and not call it a 600 but in actuallity its a freakin 532cc or somes#it.

Polaris could of upraded the 4x4 Scrambler buy putting in there Outlaw 525 motor or Predator 500 motor or XP550 motor, that would of been a nice improvement.

they took away the pull starter? that blows. i remember when the 03 kodiak 450 came out and they downgraded the 400 with a rear drum brake, but atleast the price was cheaper then before.
