I guess with the ECM brain box needing a heathy battery just to get the ATV running it was almost pointess in having a back up pull rope.

The only time I use my pull rope is on camping trips and I leave the head lights on for more camp area lighting and some times I drain out the battery when I
leave it on for hours. With one tug of the rope the ATV is up and running again,but with the new ECM machins you can,t do that I,m told.

you know what, you're right tlc. my 04 wouldnt stay running long with a dead battery, i had to limp home by pull starting every 100 feet or so.... but atleast i got back. if it wasnt for the rope...

yeah the second picture i put up shows the handleless recoil housing,i have more pic's if anyone wants,someone bought it so its off of ebay,,,,,,,,,,,,,
