Default Z400 or Raptor

i found wto desently priced quads that i want to get but not shure which one if beter for the money. Theres 2008 suzuki LTZ400 for 3k or 2006 yamah raptor 700r for 3k, here are the links

also what should I be watching out for when buying one?

depends on what kind of riding you do, Personally, I would take the z400, it has resovoir shocks, and is newer. i think that is the better deal of the two. When looking at the quads, see if the person cared for it. you can usually tell when the owner has thrashed it. maintenance records are important too. the 400 looks like its in better condition.

I personally prefer the z400 I have ridden Raptor 660's and they feel heavy, don’t maneuver as easy and aren’t as powerful as a 660cc engine should. I’m a good rider which helps, but still, the z400 has dohc and a more responsive carburetor and feels far more snappy than Raptors sohc and doggish carburetor not to mention when you’re going into turns it feels like you’re riding a tank with the Raptor 660 my z400 just amazes me with how it handles situations when I’m riding it does whatever you want when you want it.
